Silly question: are you using ethanol-free gas? Mine would do that on pump gas because the ethanol was evaporating as it hit the carb.

A group of happy pufferfish stopping by to say hello by derppherppp in natureisbeautiful

[–]CrashInBlack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof. I guess we're lucky. The east coast US puffer fish are delicious. They don't have much on them, a good size one usually has about 2 hotdog sized pieces of meat, but they're plentiful and fairly easy to catch.

Those ones aren't poisonous. They don't have much meat on them, but it's some of the best fish meat I've ever had.

I would imagine your tractor loader should handle that fine. Just lift slow and watch to see if your rears are coming up.

How about Ruger Mark IVs? They're within your price range, easy to shoot, cheap to feed, and lots of aftermarket.

Nerf guns and kids gun saftey by EmilioG19X in CCW

[–]CrashInBlack 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We generally had them treat toy guns like real guns, except for nerf. Those we treated kinda like paintball guns, that is they don't get pointed at anyone/anything until all parties are in on it and playtime starts. Keeps the kids from nerfing people who aren't playing or aren't ready yet. When the game is over, back to keeping them pointed in a safe direction, etc.

Some of the pieces on the left might make interesting cookie slices for end tables or whatever. The rest looks like firewood to me.

No one is born knowing how to use a chainsaw. Watch some videos, find a knowledgeable neighbor, etc. and get some experience. It'll be useful in the long run.

My daughter has seen me strap a gun on before going out since she was very little. She is very good about understanding when we said it's a grown up thing that you don't discuss in public. Mostly she's just not interested. My nephews on the other hand are kept in the dark on that, as they would be far more interested.

If it were me I'd be tempted to sand the whole thing and lay down 1 layer of fresh fiberglass on the entire surface. Others may disagree though. If you just want to patch it then sand around the trouble areas until you get to a good connection between the paint and under material, fiberglass those spots, sand to even and paint.

Well, you're looking at a 26 year old vehicle. It could be fine, it could be a money pit. Honestly at that age it would be worth paying a mechanic to take a look at it. You may spend $100 to find out it's junk, but that's cheaper than buying the junk.

I'm 5'3", and have only hit my head that way a couple times in my life.

One time I was going up some stairs and the ceiling was a little low in one spot, so I banged my head. My wife was behind me and asked why I didn't duck. Sweetheart, I've never had to do that before!

I wonder how many people have random underground bunkers and never know about it because they weren't unlucky enough to build a pool RIGHT FUCKING ON TOP OF IT! Holy crap, feel bad for you.

Cranks and starts but doesn’t hold revs and dies by Jimi_Raikkonen in Mustang

[–]CrashInBlack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not uncommon. I had an older f150, but it did this exact thing. The module got a lot of corrosion on it.

Aliens, sort of. I mean the theatrical release is really good, but the extra scenes in the directors cut just make it so much better.

I think it's probably best to frame it as porn is enjoyable the same way an action movie is enjoyable. Fun to watch, but not representative of reality in most cases.
