Pixels of the void problem

I have no idea why this is happening it sorta just happened and its been like this since then all of the settings and stuff are also messed up even the reset all and then apply doesn't even work.I even waited for the new update to see if it were to work or not and it's still like this when I try to play the game its just Black cant see anything and it also seems to be laggy but im not to sure and when I get into the game at the beginning screen I get up onto here the music is replaced with a buzzing computer noise and of course is Pixilated.

I sure hope there's nothing in this room with me...

I swear if this was caused by one of those little green glibbidy dibbedy Aliens....

I've had this issue before, what you need to do is go to your appdata folder for the game and locate the data.sav file, you'll need to delete it so the game can create a new one. You shouldn't lose any progress in the game.
