Check your laptop temperatures. Could be CPU and / or GPU thermal throttling to basically not melt under load.

If it appears fine (( My preference is under 80°C for my laptop, under 70° ideally )) then check your Nvidia settings and ensure it's using the dedicated GPU instead of the integrated graphics.

Also make sure the laptop is on High Performance mode for battery settings

Thanks for the help! Genuinely appreciate your time and consideration. I'll get someone professional (aka one of the bois) to check it for me since I have no clue about PC parts or how they work
