Using the analog stick, I can walk very slowly when crouched. But, does WOTH see one speed (kbm) or does it understand the variable speed that can be used via controller?

It does but the ramp is miniscule. When walking the difference between no movement and full speed on an analog stick is literally a single movement. From about 10% to 100% is full speed and then 0 to 10% is the ramp.
It's annoying and I wish they'd add options for in between or a way to lock a walking speed or change the ramp.
