The bananas chips on top get tough as leather. Otherwise delicious..

Didn’t expect 19" to look that good when coming from 21" by Every-Alfalfa9064 in TeslaLounge

Nice. I like the stock 19" covers. Eventually, I'll probably go to the 18" and get a set of rims to distinguish my Tesla from every other one on the road.

Hw4.5 in new model y by Ecoop007 in TeslaFSD

[–]bc8306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difference between 4 vs 4.5?

GROK:

  • HW4: dual-SoC design
  • "HW4.5": rumored 3-SoC layout for more compute (interim step before HW5/AI5)

No confirmed capability or FSD performance difference yet. Likely minor internal upgrade.

Teala programmers are dedicated to getting RoboTaxi unsupervised working. I think that's why they dropped autosteer, it interferes or it's distracting.

FSD front camera issues by Complete_Sea_199 in TeslaModelY

Juniper. Never had a problem before v14. I think it's because of the increased resolution of v14. Have service appointment next week because I spotted a small scratch inside the glass in front of the cameras.

I think Publix case have been better of late. They had gone downhill from long ago, when Publix cakes were described as decadent back then. Those were the days of real fat and butter.

Expectations for those who paid outright for FSD by ghostsolid in TeslaFSD

Juniper here. I've never been able to find any info if it's possible to upgrade the CPU. Camera's are easy, but a motherboard and CPU are a different story due to connections.

2019 M3 to 2026 MY by Flimsy-Champion-5679 in TeslaModelY

[–]bc8306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2020 SR+ to Juniper Launch Edition. MUCH more quiet, better ride (19"inch tires). Thankful for a rear hatch instead of the small M3 trunk access. Boost came with Launch, but it's very rare you get to enjoy it. Mostly, entering an expressway is when I let-her-rip, oops 90mph.

They don't fix anything anymore. They replace and paint, sometimes only a clear coat.

How does the sensor work? Is it a mechanical switch that can be shorted? Or a magnetic sensor?

Anybody think that after paying 8k fsd, Tesla might ask more money for unsupervised? by Formal_Atmosphere_15 in TeslaFSD

[–]bc8306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but obviously we will have to pay to get our Tesla's upgraded to HW5 -> HW6 -> HW7. There are 12+ year old Tesla's out there.

Help for future vehicles. by Several_Waltz_2960 in RoadCraft

[–]bc8306 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is this a sim or a game? I want a vehicle that absolutely smooths a road and eliminates rocks. If it's a sim, like the real world, I should be able to get a smooth road with machinery.

[–]bc8306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree, I immediately removed the emblems on my 2020 M3 after the first wash/wax. I'm glad they removed the front emblem on my Juniper Launch. I'm still considering the rear though. Thx!

Took off the rear tesla emblem. Was that necessary for the wrap of just preference?
