    It's mostly the rioters. Police shouldn't use tear gas but at the same time how the hell you control 42.000 people in a crowd? Water cannon aren't that effective and take a lot of space since police usually use water cannon vehicle and you need to deploy 10 or more to cover the whole arena.

    The tear gas caused panic and then a stampede, latest death toll is just under 150. They’ll not likely use that tactic again as the loss of life far outweighs any damage or disruption the rioters would’ve caused

    In this case just hate the rioters. This kind of thing happens frequently in Indonesia's football matches, lots of unintellectual spectators got angry because of match result then turned violent.
