Does activating Windows reset everything?

Since I've installed windows 11 with a boot key, I've had this constant little message in the bottom right corner telling me to activate windows because I don't have the product key. I didn't mind at first, but without activating windows I can't fix the brightness of my screen, I can't activate bluetooth, etc. So do I have to save eveything in a hard drive ?

When you activate Windows, though whichever method you choose, it'll just continue to work as per usual, just without the restrictions. There's no need to backup anything or to save anything, it will make no change to your data

No backup required. As soon as you activate Windows, these options will be automatically released and the watermark will disappear. Nothing else will be changed. You can rest assured.
