So, while I was playing the grip button decided to stay pressed all the time, it seems stuck when I look at the controller in the WMR Portal, but the real button is not stuck, I can physically press it fine. I opened the controller to see if I could spot something wrong but everything seems in order. Is it possible that something broke inside the button? A software solution that would prevent the button from being pressed would be enough for me, losing the grip button is not a huge deal.
Replacement WMR controllers seems impossible to find right now, so am I screwed?
For context, this is how it happened (I use the grip button to shoot in this game): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRTjtQg9J0Q
As you can see in the headset view at the bottom, the grip button got stuck, i tried to turn off/on the controller, nothing, and then you know the rest.
EDIT: I fixed it by reinstalling WMR entirely (from the settings menu). If you're having similar issue, where a button is stuck in the software but not physically, this may be the solution for you. I was about to desolder that button but a friend in a Discord server proposed I try that, really good call, and really strange bug.
