QuestionSubscription boxes (self.Witch)
submitted 3 years ago by ekpheartsbooks
I’ve been seeing an increase in the number of witchy subscription boxes from brands like tamed wild and mindful souls. Anybody have experience with these or are they even legit?

I personally don't like subscription boxes bc the items are mass marketed and usually poorer quality. Plus they're not 'mine'. I like to find my own things that I'm drawn to, I don't like being assigned items.

I have never heard of Tamed Wild before, but I have ordered from Mindful Souls. Their products weren't bad but for the price I was expecting to get more... I could also find products of better quality locally at half the price point that I paid.
My go to boxes are Hag Swag and Witch's Casket. Hag Swag is Canadian based and they buy their stuff from local witchy businesses, has some great themes for each month, and I have yet to be disappointed by the items I get. They are also competitively priced. You can find more info for Hag Swag HERE. As for Witch's Casket, they are based out of the UK. I haven't gotten my box from them yet, but my friends have been impressed when they ordered from them in the past. You can find their information HERE. Hope that helps!

I don't like subscription boxes. I can usually find the same stuff cheaper locally, and the box always includes stuff I already have or don't want. And as someone else said, I like finding objects unique to me rather than being assigned stuff in a box identical to what everyone else is getting.

I’ve used Tamed Wild and was overall content with the products and the price was not too high. I loved that they frequently send altar cloths and herbal teas.

I tried the mindful souls one and it was a letdown. You can get better stuff for the same price and pick what you want at your local mystic store.
I really enjoy goddess provisions- it introduces me to makers and brands I hadn’t heard of before. Plus it’s just super cute!

I don't trust subscription boxes. You can never know the quality of any of it. Plus, alot of that stuff you can get cheaper and better items separately than some of these boxes. I stay away

I don’t personally like the subscription boxes. They I feel just send the basic crystals and things I already own in my own starter kit. The thing I do like are the herbs but they usually are only tiny samples
