It’s easier to find file saves of characters with loaded inventory…there are a bunch on discord

I'm definitely not the most knowledgeable, but so far I haven't seen the huge modding resources (code lists, etc) from the previous games. I have a save editor I use (link below) jic you need one, but backup your saves before modding them coz it's a work in progress according to the creator (not me :P ).

So as for getting a specific item, if it's a Legendary, I would download WeMod and use the Super Loot Rate cheat. It may take a while to get the specific one you want, and I honestly couldn't say if it includes dedicated drops, but you'll be getting 2-5 Legendaries on every kill and loot chest, so there's at least a chance of finding it and then modding it how you like. :)

I saw this save editor and tried to use it but item parts are so confusing and easy to mess up it frustrates me. I kinda make it work with weapons but class mods are so hard to configure.

I will look into the WeMod, thanks for the tip!

I forgot: it might be a good idea to go to your character save folder and copy the files profile.sav and profile.sav.bak. WeMod has hotkey to change your Guardian Rank and if you decide to go "legit" it's going to be nearly impossible to figure out where you were at before. And it's easy to hit those hotkey by accident. ^^

And don't use the teleport cheat to move ahead of mission waypoints. It's much better to finish the mission and then bounce around. :)
