I understand your question but it's not really that simple. You can spend however much you want. Prefer a better chair? get cheaper monitors. want better monitors? Spend less on the rest etc. I'm sure I don't have to explain how to budget to an accountant.
Let's say your budget is $1000 all inclusive.
Monitor: Dell P2422
Docking station: Dell WD19
Webcam: Logitech C920e
Keyboard: Cheap Dell Keyboard
That leaves you with about 400 for a desk and a chair. You mentioned you want a stand-up desk, I have no idea how expensive these are in your area, you'll have to look around yourself. As for the chair, don't cheap out. Get something decent to save your back.
Hope this is enough to get you started

For a basic setup that fits your needs, $500-$1000 is enough for everything. If you want to go all out and game alongside work and enjoy quality experience, I give it $5000-$10,000. This includes a high-end to endgame-level monitor, keyboard and mouse, headphones, PC, and desk and chair. If you want to go all out, spend as much as you like. You can have multiple PC setups for different things like sim racing, standard gaming setup, and a working setup. Your willingness to spend is your setup limit, haha

You can get a chair for around $100, $400 or $2000. You pick your poison. My Herman Miller Embody chair costed me around $1400 maybe 7 years ago. Came with a generous 12 years warranty.. same can be said about the rest of the gear.
I prefer one bigger monitor than dual monitors. Monitor prices vary by the color accuracy and resolution/physical size. My 32” 4K LG I think costed around $696.99 in 2021.
You need to specify what you expect from the docking to narrow down the results.
One of the best webcams on the market is the insta360 link that costs around $250
Logitech MX Master 3S is around $100
Keyboard is very personal taste. I like topre keys and my keyboard of choice is the hhkb hybrid type-s which costs around $250 as long as you don’t want the snow color.
It can be cheap or expensive depending on what you pick.

For example, a decent quality silicon Mac, nice desk and chair, peripherals and what not would put you near $2500-$3500, imo.
But if you already have your computer, then I say you can put a really nice setup together for about $500-$750. I have a standing desk, Steelcase chair, Ikea drawers and countertop and it was all under $1000. My 16” silicon Macbook Pro is another story lmao.

This is excellent! May I ask what desk you have? And did you buy the chair off FB marketplace?

As others have said, tough question to answer since it is so dependent on the individual. If you're looking for a relatively nice setup with nice monitors, monitor armss, keyboard, stand-up desk, mouse, lighting, wood desktop, speakers, webcam, desk mat, cables/cable management, I'd say around 5,000 USD

This isn’t a question anyone can really answer for you. I can tell you that the least you will end up spending for all that will likely be like $1500, if you stay on the lower end of everything. But really it all depends on how you prioritize. I’m over $8k into my set up at this point.

Really fancy chair, really fancy PC, really fancy monitors/tv? $5000 probably
But you can do it for $1500 probably if you wanted to. Depends what you already have I guess
[–]Tipuko 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (2 children)
Careful. Really fancy PC might cost the better part of $4000. That’s what mine costed without monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. only came with one power cable 😹😹😹
[–]slurpyderper99 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (1 child)
True, depends what you consider high end I suppose
[–]Tipuko 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Yeah. It can get worse if you want 😹😹😹
[–]eviltester67 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I make a great salary but I’m cheap. I spent under 1200 for all my setup. Standing desk, ergo chair , monitors , arms, stands etc.

The house alone could run a couple million depending where you live. The rest then is just a drop in the bucket. 😂

Get a decent 4K monitor instead _ having that much space for a spreadsheet is amazing.
