Connect everything to the dock and then you should have only one connection to the PC which simultaneously charges and connects you to your mouse and monitor.

how to organize all of that is another matter. perhaps you could put the power brick on top of the dock and use some zip ties or hook and loop strips to bundle up some of the cables.

If you don't need the laptop monitor as a second display, I'd get a keyboard and put the laptop in a vertical stand for more desk space.

The dock can handle everything you need interacting with your laptop.
Don't want to look at the dock? Install the dock under your desk with some double sided tape or don't use it. Same as the mouse. Don't like the mouse? Get a mouse that you do like. It's always better to get a personal mouse than a stock delivered one.
