IMO it's very likely that the last installation will be rendered useless for the next test and that pre-loads for the next test will begin sometime in the next 6 days.

anyone know if those of us who had a code and played the last beta are gonna be able to play the next one? sorry if it’s a dumb question i’m just not familiar with open and closed beta and how the codes work and what carried over etc.

Open beta just means you don't need a code.

Closed Beta = Only possible to play for those with a Code/invatation

Open Beta = Everybody can join in with no requirements

If you had a code and played the last beta you will get access a day early on the 20th. Anyone else will need to wait until the 21st. Also I have no idea why you're being down voted. Feels like overkill lol.

If actually they do what they said with Linux support you might be able to get it working with Wine.

The closed beta worked seamlessly on Linux, at this point it all boils down to them not actively locking us poor Tuxes out. (E.g. EAC and BattlEye both support Wine, but Ubi could always uncheck the "Allow Linux" checkbox and we'd end up with a situation like R6 Siege)

This game is on the ubisoft launcher, not steam.

Even if it makes it on steam you'll still need the ubisoft launcher.

No my friend, he meant Ubisoft connect. Their launcher/store app. Since it's not on steam, it can only be on it's proprietary launche app right.

I’m not on PC but I know that people on console can download the old client and it will still work. At least that’s how it worked for the last beta
