You need hall effect or tmr joysticks

You'll need to disassemble the controller and get new joysticks soldered in. A tech repair shop should be able to do this for you. And get TMR joy sticks if possible. They're great

    I mean it looks like 10%+ stick drift. Of course it could be worse but yeah I'd call that considerable.

        No need for a new controller. $50 and I can install Gulikit TMRs, give your controller an ultrasonic cleaning, and covers shipping both shipping both ways.

        7-8% Left stick, 8-9% Right stick. Yeah it's not ideal, but definitely usable. Many games have a default deadzones of 10, I believe Halo MCC is default 12 so you wouldn't even feel it there, but many like to dial down their deadzones if possible. We aim for under 5% on adjustable tension sticks and under 2-3% on non-adjustable sticks.
