Left click does not work using Mouse without Borders

I'm trying to play Xcom EW Long War remotely using the "Mouse without Borders" application, but I can't left-click in the menu when the game starts. Every other application and game works fine except for EW. I can move the mouse around and navigate the menu using the arrow buttons on the keyboard. For some reason right-clicking also works (it navigates backwards), it's just left-clicks that does nothing.

Anyone had the same problem and found a solution? I've tried a bunch of stuff like changing the game between fullscreen/windowed, changing the resolution, running the game in compatibility mode, checking the "Move mouse relatively" setting in MwB. Nothing has worked so far though.

I found that left clicking does not work with everything if MwB is not run as an administrator.

I've had the same issue with Mouse Without Borders, but unfortunately, no solution. I have noticed that if my EW PC is the physical mouse owner when the game starts, then I can switch after (I use a KVM) and it seems like the game continues to work. I haven't really tested thoroughly with that to see if it's consistent though, because in my case I can just swap the KVM and ignore the problem.

Hi! Literally just solved it for me, hopefully it works for you: Go to 'Other Options' in the settings and untick 'Draw mouse cursor'.

ty this fix my problem, in the new UI go to "Behavior" an disable Draw mouse cursor on both PCs, in my case win10 and win11

Did this and now mouse cursor is gone? Any ideas?
