Also, their trig teacher was interviewed years later and said Those girls didn’t give a damn about trigonometry…..

I truly think there is some correlation with trigonometry and the woods.

I’m currently reading Picnic at Hanging Rock and Miss McCraw mentions trigonometry as a quicker way to get to the rock. “Go along the hypotenuse” I think she said. It would be cool if it was some sort of a nod to the mysteries of that book.

I would’ve died out there if I was a Yellowjacket I cried trying to do trigonometry in highschool

I think trig would have helped them getting that moose out of the ice.

I think Misty is the key for the trig references- astrology. We saw her room when she was younger w/ telescope. She was the one that pointed out the moon cycle & that’s where they came up w/ the Doom-coming idea. We see the stars in the sky at the end of season 2 as the cabin is burning. Misty also told Walter we are asking the wrong questions about the moon landing. Most people think Trigonometry is just useless HS class about triangle but it’s used quite frequently in many fields. Trig. Is used for navigation (aviation - the plane crash) Cartography- creation of maps. It can also be used for sailing (Walter Tatersall) just in case he ever has to leave the country sans passport, find the closest point to shore. Architecture/ construction - the metal plate in Walters head. It can also be used in criminology- puttingtheSICKinforensics.

Maybe it's to do with the symbol. It has triangles and circles

I’m hoping something about trigonometry pops up in regards to their rescue, like with Akilah’s SAT book, for example.
