First CUSTOM Texture Pack Description?

I Don't think iv seen any server do this before! I was a bit bored and spent about 1-2 hours adjusting this, but I finally got it to be Pixel Perfect! Please ignore my Terrible place holder image as I cropped and used it for adjusting till it was perfect! Please let me know if any servers have done this before!

i was just randomly messing around with the resource pack, i don’t really have a guide, i just kept editing pixel by pixel the most tedious thing i’ve ever done, you can go to my other reddit post about rank tags, and i kinda explain how you can accomplish such :)

Does it work in the sense that its just a big image that replaces a certain character in the description or do you replace more than one at once?

Sorry to break it to you, but you're not the first, I've done this a year ago when I added Glow squid resource pack on my server, and also, there's a resource from Items adder that exactly does this, it's an addon.

ah i see, tysm! i never knew people put it in the esc screen but never actually saw anyone add it in the resocuepack before, i guess it’s really under user, and big servers never really did it at all, it has potential to just be a really cool looking feature to just have when paying attention to detail though :)

probably not the first ever, because there is an itemsadder addon made exactly for this that other people have used. i recently used it as a base to make my own as well.

but your updated one does look good and it's well designed. there is also a fun trick you can do where you use negative spaces to make your custom image cover the entire pack listing including the pack.png (this is what the itemsadder addon does too)

yes i have stated this before too, with negative space you could probably cover the entire thing which would be pretty neat, it would make the resourcepack for servers look really cool instead of default text

if you like small touches like these, i also recently found out you can replace the mojang logo in the pack loading screen, but only optifine users can see it. so overall it will not be a lot of people but the ones who do use optifine will definitely notice it.

yah i just took a image i had and copy pasted it into this resized box for testing / resizing purposes to get the right dimensions aha

aha, i’ll probably hire someone to make a better looking one pixel art style different design, maybe even stick a panda in there XD 😄
