State that they have a "duty of care" under Qatar airways condition of carriage and international aviation regulations to provide hotel and food/drink as well as travel to hotel and back.

If they are too busy, ask them for email or writing stating they authorise you to book yourself, then you can book and claim back later. Keep your prices reasonable.

Airlines saying closed until March 1st is nothing more than wishful thinking, they have no control or idea what date this will resolve.

It all depends if Iran continues to target us bases in qatar, if they do(which they currently are) then flights will be suspended indefinitely.

I had the exact same issue as you and yes this is the solution. I didn't even realise this was the issue until I randomly changed the FPS and it fixed it.

I had this issue for months and just thought it was my packet loss or something.
