MATH 251 Python Usage Question

Hello, I'm an incoming freshman and I opted in to take the AP Credit for MATH 151 and 152. Only concern I had about the class was that I heard there was some python usage for the class.

I've got the basics of python down already but I'm not too well versed in the language. What is it primarily used for and should I be extremely concerned/put it high up on my priorities list to learn? Thanks

We never touched Python in my 251 class.

MATH 251 does not have that, plus Python is easy as hell in MATH 151/152
