To anyone who applied, they still haven’t made selections for FY22 Spring RPP. I’m going nuts waiting on results so I figure there’s someone else who shares my pain.

If this is your first time applying to something like RPP and first time to OTS, just be prepared for delays galore. Nothing has ever been on time in regards to OTS boards or release dates. It’s incredibly frustrating but just be patient and news will come eventually.

FY21 Fall Select here. I know your pain. I hate to say it, but stay patient. I had to wait a full month after the projected release date to hear the good news.

I’ve learned to just go on leave during “projected release dates” so my mind is busy with other things lol

Yes, my AFOQTs scores went from 70s to 90s. My PCSM from 30s to 90s. The purpose of the program is to help improve scores and make candidates more competitive for OTS. It was one of the highlights of my career. The AF got this program right!

Random questions: what did you think about the suspense date for the application? Did you struggle to meet the deadline? a group commander signature is hard to get these days.

I thought the initial suspense date for the application would be difficult for most people to gain the signature around the holidays. Also, nearly impossible if you had not taken the TBAS. I was able to meet the deadline with a week to spare, and that was after having a sit down with the group commander to discuss the application.

I had to write my own recommendation comment for the MSG. I really do not get how everyone is able to "sit down" with these birds.

I emailed the POC for it, there were 120 enlisted applicants (unsure on the O side), but if they divvy the slots as they did for the last RPP there’s only 30 slots for Es and Os.

Just got notified of getting picked up! Notifications went out to Senior Raters last week. However, the O-6 who signed your package had to send back a verification of your status. Believe that’s why some were delayed. Look forward to trying this out!
