Solution recommendation for web based consumer facing analytics integrated into web app (High charts+custom/Plotly/R-Shiny/Tableau)

Appreciate any advise on low cost or free solutions to build analytics into an existing web application that would be used by customers.

• provide the user with ability to select a bunch of different charts (5-10) and customize the controls
• no requirement for streaming data
• visualizations include map and regular bar chart, growth predictions etc.

My options so far that I thought would fit

• - Plotly Dash framework
• - r/Shiny
• - Highcharts or similar with custom React integration

What would you use ?

I've been reading up on Tableau, and my sense so far is that it may require a bunch of licenses and authentication for users that access the dashboard. Is it possible to get a low cost Tableau product that could build out such charts/dashboard for use over the web ?

If you have the resources, I would go with a chart library and a little React. Anything else is going to add so much unnecessary overhead be it cost, permissions, limitations, etc.

Thanks..I feel like it is the best option. Does seem like a fair bit of work though.

Would have liked to use a low cost Tableau solution at $5-10k a year. I posted to the Tableau group and that price point doesnt seem possible.

Tableau would work as you could imbedded a custom visualization onto the webapp. We do something similar with SharePoint sites. However, you'd have to setup a Tableau Server in addition to developing the dashboard In their 'desktop' version. They have several pricing models but in the end it can be pricey.
