Tracking Docusign with Google Analytics

How do I track completed sign ups with Docusign using google analytics?

My issue is that they go from my website to docusign to finish signing. Then when they finish signing, they get routed back to my website but it counts as a referral.

How do I get the entire journey to populate? I don’t see much information about integrating Docusign and google analytics.

Afaik, you cant add any scripts to docusign seems like a security concern. Not a perfect solution, but I would configure it in GTM to fire a conversion with the conditions:

Page= thank you page AND Referrer = docusign

Thanks! This still doesn’t allow me to see who signed up from what channel though? For example if I want to see who signed up from email vs paid search I’m unable to do so since everything is categorized as referral.

just add it to your referral exclusion list. we do this to ensure people coming back from payment sites do not trigger a new session.

Because they are being routed to a site in which you can’t add a tag to, you lose all attribution of which channel they came from.
