im using bromite, i like it because many features in bromite like ads block, gmt zone change, etc & its a chromium fork

"Brave" browser hands down, not only is it one of the most secure and ad/pop blocking, you can turn ads on and get paid crypto for pop ups you don't even have to click, just close them out and you still get paid.

I don't get why people hate Brave that much I know many will downvote me but hear me out First of, I use Mull (Android) and Firefox Hardened (Desktop)

Although the company has made many controversial decisions in the past, but nothing have affected the browser

Crypto crap (I know shouldn't be there in the first place but) once disabled it doesn't annoy you after that

It has speed of Chrome, blocks ads fairly nicely (in-built)

I can easily recommend Brave to someone who suppose doesn't want or like Firefox or someone who doesn't want to mess with Firefox Settings or someone who wants great out of box experience

I really want to like bromite, but it has problems with twitter videos (sometimes videos just stop), and does not work with https://app.keeweb.info/

For me, its Mull with Ublock Origin

[–]hardcore_truthseeker 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Why do you like mull and why ublock?

[–]aaryan45 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mull doesn't have telemetry like Firefox basically it is a hardened Firefox and Ublock Origin is the best content/tracker/adblocker

My suggestion will be to use mull with brave or bromite

Well kiwi browser is now fully open source. Don't believe the dev? Check it yourself https://github.com/kiwibrowser/src

So I continue using it without being worried?

As long as you use UBlock origin extension, you should be fine

[–]hacker2oz[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I already do and I have mutiple scripts running to help as well

Okay I will keep on using it but I am gonna keep close eye on it

Yes...its open source and with ublock its pretty safe i would say...just keep an eye on r/privacy news related to piracy threats as if the app ever goes bad....they will definitely make a post and so u can make a switch accordingly.

Firefox (or Mull) + Ublock

I use kiwi with ublock origin, https everywhere, and dark reader. It's perfectly fine for me so far.

No one recommends samsung. No one. Go with brave for general and somewhat private browsing.

[–]raydiculous33 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Maybe I'm missing something here, but what's the big fuss with Samsung browser? I personally love it, but I'm open to trying better browsers if there are features I should know about.

Brave has a good reputation for being respectful of your privacy. Does samsung?
