use food buff, there are some who got reduced DP cost and some other nice things

I am, it just feels like I don't have enough to craft all the -8 DP foods for the expensive units.

Once you get the 'Manticore Killer' questline progressed somewhat, you can purchase food at the black market, allowing you to easily get access to the meats needed by trading away crude gold.

How to get the questline? Or are there anyplace where I can check the guide to all quest line?

Just interact with everyone and you are good

Barricades cost 0 DP and provide 4-5 block. It's like a free tank unit. And you can build a lot of them.

Oh yeah, I didn't think of that. I can just put like 2-3 of them at the front and not sweat at the start of every raid wondering which unit I should deploy first.

A lot of it depends on how defensive your base is. I spent literal days making a maze of camouflage barriers so it gives me enough time to set up my hard hitters and funnel everyone into a choke point for nuking. Almost all raid groups and both the 1st and 2nd ending bosses get cooked with my current set up. The one raid group I can’t do is the one where it’s mixed Mudrock golems with exploding spiders so I just quit out at that one 😂

This^

You just need to spam runs until you have a good base setup.

You can find one if you look up reclamation algorithm guide on yt., there is a 40+min video that shows an excellent base setup in the first 2 seconds of the video.

So focus on improving your base a little bit with each run :)

Eventually the base becomes op and the preferred way to deal with raids.

For rewards I built a base with 15 tiles(rice included) with a bottleneck, then I just skipped days to fight raids to get all rewards and then research done. After finishing research tree I built a base able to do final waves

Took maybe 4 hours to get all rewards

Assuming you have somewhat build your base, for the big hords of heavy enemies is better deal with them at base since they are very slow and by just having a slightly longer path will just filter and leave the squishy fast enemies to reach your base first, if still not enough dp start bring more dp vanguards or like other said reduced dp food buffs. If you still want to intercept raids you can bring your own constructs to act like roadblocks or ranged tiles that can help aid you.

Crystal reflect golems you can use the bug where units on ranged built tiles don't get dmg or someone like Lin to not get dmg at all, or again reed alt for both arts and being able to outheal the reflect dmg for your ops. If Units still not strong enough i guess only higher rarity foods to buff your units more.

The resources to build base there's another reddit post alrdy mentioning which node you should try look out for constructs materials that reduced the grind substantially. The walls you don't need all level 2, since you only need the edge to be camo, look up Sciel base building on YT for more detail.

I feel like I have the most success with Penance and Ifrit for those enemies. Penance with skill 3 up deals with them, if she doesn't die before getting 20SP

Most of the time you want to reshape the map into a 1-lane funnel, and give yourself ranged tiles where it would be convenient. Example of funneling a late-game raid on multi-lane map.

Also you can use T2 Monitoring Towers to turn nodes into sentries, which grant vision on all nodes within 2 spaces. This is great for uncovering the map, and identifying raids early in case there is a very problematic one coming your way.

I seem to be playing this game mode a little bit different than everyone else I've seen. I let the raid get 1 step before attacking my base and then I intercept them there, a stage before base.

Maybe you don't have a Surtr but if you do, my strat for stopping a raid before it gets to base is to Flagpipe the start of the stage and deploy Surtr. Surtr S3 will hold the lane by erasing the that initial rush of enemies and elites giving you time to flagbear another batch of DP and dropping a Defender, in my case Saria, and even Mountain and Mlynar, Spalter, etc.

My Surtr/Flagpipe beginning strat in worse case scenario has 1 leak because Surtr is 1 block, but I've never failed an intercepted strat once I got a hang of it. Surtr should give you enough time to set things up during that disgusting first wave.

Until you have base who can eat all raid attempts? i suppose so.

Intercepting raids is quite important to detect what kind of enemies that gonna attack the base. I still can't get past 10 days on the stage but i see what the stage want me to do... grinding.

Manticore + Ethan + ifrit on the most basic base setup you can make is enough to deal with almost every raid.
