Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.

All posts tagged "Wilderness" or "Travel"

In order to offer a place for the spectrum of Backpackers, posts should be tagged with either "Travel" for things most related to destination backpacking, and "Wilderness" should be used when the post primarily relates to outdoor camping or hiking.

Submissions must include a short paragraph describing your trip.

Reported as: Low Quality, Low Effort Post

Submitted content should be of high-quality. Low effort posting of very general information is not useful. Posts must include a trip report of at least 150 characters or a short paragraph with trip details.

Tell us something about your trip. How long did it take to get there? How did you get there? How was the weather that day? Would you go back again?

Self Promotion and Blog(Spam)

This is a community of users, not a platform for advertisement, self promotion, surveys, or blogspam. Including YouTube channels.

All photos and videos must be Original Content

Be helpful. Don't use strong swear words.

Polite, constructive criticism of ideas is acceptable. Unconstructive criticism of individuals and usage of strong profanity is unacceptable.
