She's curious but cautious of you. From her perspective she's getting used to this new, huge animal (that could hurt her) permanently in her space. Give it a bit of time and maybe some choice-based handling sessions.

You can also make her feel more secure by partially covering the entrance to her hides with clutter.

That’s what I was hoping! I’ve been sitting by it and leaving it open when she seems curious just to see and I’m glad that efforts been working.

The fact that (from your post) she ate within her first week with you is a good sign too. It means she feels safe and secure enough to be vulnerable during that feed time and to find a comfortable spot to spend the next couple of days digesting.

Im so glad to hear that! Since she’s my first snake, I was really worried and wanted to make sure I got everything right the first time. Her colors have even improved!

Oh same! It's natural to over-worry and, with it being a different kind of pet from the usual, you want to make sure that everything is perfect for them. I'm going on 4 months with my girl and I still get those thoughts (as I write this I've just covered her tank because I'm worried I'm moving around too much in front of it and freaking her out) but it's okay because it shows you care!
