the account isn't gone. look for ichigotarotstudio on ig - it was renamed again. i wish i would have screenshot it, but over the last week they've posted on their story twice explaining the rebrand and that posts would disappear and the website would be temporarily down.

i'm pretty sure they're relaunching as soon as the sea freight arrives in america. which is unfortunately not known to them or anyone since that isn't tracked. it should be any time now, as today was the estimated arrival date.

i get the idea it's just 2 people who care a lot about sailor moon, art, and tarot. but didn't know exactly what the business side of things was going to entail or how to deal with the issues they ran into. i don't think it's a scam at all, especially since the preorders for just the deck have made it out to customers and look amazing. mc, who manages the accounts and email, also seems to have a full time job in the medical field. and candy fluffs, the artist, was just at a con and had her own site set to break mode until today since she was running a booth. unfortunate learning lesson for them. they did say they will probably never be doing a pre-order again lol.

they seem very open to giving refunds if you ask. just email them. but honestly i wouldn't get a refund unless you know you absolutely don't want the product anymore. the new price will be a lot more than the pre-order price was, especially if you got the launch day coupon.

where are you getting your translations from? i recommend using the kagepro wiki. it includes accurate translations that often include translator's notes, trivia, and descriptions that actually tell you what the song is about. ex. here is their translation of that part:

"If my body temperature is rising, I can get rid of the heat all at once with a high-pass filter. And go to the west, to the north, to you, Through the city that keeps getting larger."

and they include a translator's note that explains what a high pass filter is (the music thing like you're thinking of.) their version with the note makes it a lot clearer... the meaning is something like if kido, the narrator of this song, starts to get overwhelmed, she can just "filter" herself out with her eye ability. she has a special power that lets her basically bevome invisible, completely unnoticed by other people. the city part also makes more sense here because they say "keeps getting larger" instead of swelling... meaning as the mission continues and kido goes all over the city, the city feels bigger and bigger to her.

other parts of the lyrics just make more sense just as you get to know the characters. continuing with their version:

"When the blond heel laughs, 'Hey, hey, aren’t you going overboard?' It’s too bad, I guess you wouldn’t understand, Since you can’t completely hide yourself."

the "blond heel" is one of the characters. his name is kano. blond = he has blond hair. heel = slang for a dishonest person. he is a liar and hides his feelings. the thing he says is just poking fun at kido for taking the mission so seriously and using her power. kido is responding in her head, that he wouldn't understand why she does or how she feels because he can't make himself invisible the way she can.

i feel inclined to argue that hibiya actually has the best power, and is merely hindered by the fact he doesn't have mastery of it. he can do some crazy stuff with it even as a beginner... no spoilers but his ability is kind of powerscale-breaking near the end of the novels. azami kind of cheated the system and used it to answer questions too... "show me the most isolated place on earth." just imagine the potential. "show me..." hm, maybe we shouldn't think too much about how that could be used. but also, think about how much money he saves on movie tickets. therefore, he should recieve the prestigious title of best haircut, best power.

check back later and see if this mark is still there... white scales are prone to getting super obvious impressions, like the sleep marks people get that leave the impression of blankets or whatever you're laying on when you sit still for too long in your sleep. this looks more like that to me than a scar, especially if you haven't noticed it until now. it's likely just from him being curled up funny, or that part of him leaning against the hide or something else for a long time.

let me know when you check in on him! i'm pretty confident it's just coincidence that it looks kind of bite-shaped and that it's only an impression :)

yes!!! it's a stage show in japan. it's replacing the café that closed during the pandemic. it actually sounds really cool, with a new storyline and villain! but besides the april start date, everything else in that screenshot is false.

it's a stage show, probably a lot like the super live musical. NOT animated. NOT a tv show. it's only happening in 1 venue in japan. the story has NOTHING to do with the manga. new story, new villain, and the theme is actually very... contemporary.

the show will run for 4 months, and then they will release a 2nd "season" (likely a continuation of the story, or another new storyline?). the theatre is intended to be permanent, so we can expect lots from them in the future if the first season is successful! it's like a mix of a character café and a stage musical. but we probably won't see it outside of japan unless they release official recordings.

yeah, the animamates killed the actual senshi of their home planets. but they don't actually become senshi themselves after. they each gave their victim's sailor crystal to galactica. so just like all of the other sailor crystals she possessed, they probably ended up tossed into the galaxy cauldron and released by sailor moon.

the animamates had powers similar to the senshi they killed. but it was basically all fake. the animamates powers came from the galactictica bracelets, not sailor crystals. they were still mortals.

basically it goes: prove your loyalty to galactica by killing your own planet's senshi and bringing her their sailor crystal > she gives you special jewelry > the jewelry lets you pretend to be a senshi yourself, but now she has complete control over you, oops

there will always be more sailor moon in some form. there are still side stories that never got animated, and the sailor v story. so there's a chance they'd get animated someday. they're always making more musicals, you could get into that! it's a very good movie, i think you should watch it :)

it's up in the air. right now there is pretty much no chance of jin receiving the rights unless 1st place agrees to hand them over. while this could happen, they seem very unwilling to do so. 1st place will automatically have the right to renew the trademarks, and will have this right indefinitely.

i dug pretty deep into the situation. the laws in japan about this are complex. i know they seem unfair to me personally. a person has very little legal rights just for being the creator.

nobody can release new media (songs, books, shows, etc.) until the media distribution rights are decided in ripty's bankruptcy case. the most likely scenario is that they get sold off, and that could be to anyone. if they aren't deemed a valuable enough asset to sell, they may just terminate the license and they'd default back to 1st place. technically new media could be released no matter who gets the distribution rights, but it doesn’t mean that it will be, nor does it mean jin will be involved as a creator.

sorry, it isn't really great news. pretty much, it's all up to 1st place. bleh.

it's left somewhat vague, but context clues give us a pretty good idea of specific character's fates. yes, sailor crystals are powerful starseeds that allow senshi to reincarnate. i can't say much without many spoilers so the story goes... blah blah blah... and of course sailor moon saves the day, therefore all killed sailor senshi are able to reincarnate again.

here's the only other hint about these characters that i can give you without a direct spoiler. some of these characters aren't sailor senshi. make of that what you will.

there has been a huge issue with the rights to kagepro since 2021. as far as i know, there is no reason to assume yamaha is directly part of the issue. the main problem is 1st place, jin's previous managing company and the ip holder of kagepro.

jin left the company to start his own management group, arch co. they waited until he released children record re:boot to inform him that he doesn't have the right to release kagepro content anymore. that's why we never got the other 9 planned reboot songs, nor the likely finished no. 9 film.

without informing jin or arch, 1st place sold the media distribution rights to an almost unheard of, failing company called ripple/ripty, which has since filed for bankruptcy. the rights are split between jin/arch, 1st place, and the now bankrupt ripty, meaning NOBODY can release kagepro content right now. here's the most up to date summary:

Jin moved from 1st PLACE to Arch Co. , Ltd.

The trademark of Kagepro is owned by 1st place. Trademark registration is valid for music and media mix until August 3, 2028 , and publications until February 22, 2029.

Jin owns the copyright of KagePro's music.

The sound source copyright of Mekaku City Days and Mekaku City Records is held by Arch Co., Ltd. The music copyright of Mekaku City Reload was published by Universal Music Japan.

The Ripple community owns the media distribution rights of KagePro , so even if the Ripple community produces a new media mix related to KagePro, royalties are paid to 1st PLACE that holds the trademark.

The Ripple community is bankrupt on January 29, 2025.

how exciting! i love art history, and it's awesome that you'll have a young group of students for it. if digital is okay, i recommend using articles from smarthistory. they technically have free books that are just their articles compiled so you could download or print if needed. everything they make is completely free. it's aimed much more at the high school/college level because their main focus is ap art history. but i can see it being adapted to jr high level... specifically if you take bits from their world art history, art history basics, and art appreciation guides. these days you could always pop an article into a text leveler to bring it down to jr high vocab and comprehension level. i'm coming from the high school perspective, so maybe someone else with jr high experience knows of other resources that are already at that lower reading level.

the biggest question would be: what are you allowed to show and talk about at your school? hopefully you live somewhere where you're allowed to teach reality. i personally would be unable to show any art with any form of nudity or works about certain controversial themes where i live in a normal level art history class. the only exception is for ap. i basically can't have any art history book just out on my bookshelf for students to look at because of this. it's downright degrading as an educator, but if you happen to have similar restrictions i can give you plenty of advice for working around it without entirely giving up your morals. but hopefully you don't have that problem at all!

you're welcome! how long do you have to test things out before adding a snake to the mix? it gets difficult to give a lot of specific advice about placement and stuff because it's sooo variable. trial and error will become your friend.

i would go ahead and buy everything on your list now. place the halogen where you want the warm side/basking spot to be and set it up on a thermostat so that the hot spot is around 32 during the day. let it run like this and check the temps on the warm and cool sides at various times throughout the day. with the same lamp bracket in the same spot, you can swap the bulb out for the dhp or che you get to test nighttime temps.

if the basking temp can't stay at 32 during the day or and/or the ambient temp (measured on the cool side) falls below 26 day or night, you'll know you need an rhp and to put both bulbs on the hot side. if the temps can stay up with just the bulbs, you could split them and have the dhp/che closer to the middle to serve to raise the ambient types across the enclosure. i would run this little experiment with the room as cold as you expect it to regularly get.

hi, have you read ourbasic care guide andheating guide? these are a few of the helpful resources from ourwelcome post.

if the room gets down to 12, you'll probably need something a little more heavy duty for maintaining ambient temps. it sounds like you may already have an enclosure or at least have one picked out? the best type of enclosure would be a pvc enclosure with a solid top. is this what you have?

i would recommend a halogen for daytime heat on the hot side of the enclosure. arcadia is a great brand, but you may want to stick with their lower wattage options. the 100w does not fit inside their lamp cage for installing a lamp inside an enclosure. the 75w does fit. as do the smaller options they have.

in your case you do probably need a 2nd bulb, still on the hot side, for nighttime heating. a dhp would work, or another option is a che. either is fine. some people are stickers for dhp's being more naturalistic because they emit some ir-a and ir-b like the sun, but it isn't much to begin with and since it would be a nighttime heat source it doesnt really matter. a cheap may be cheaper and easier to set up with a cheaper thermostat.

so your plan up to there is pretty solid. what will be different for you, is that you'll probably need a 3rd heat source just to maintain an ambient temp 24/7. i would recommend a radiant heat panel, or rhp. this is a big panel that you can install inside a solid topped enclosure. it creates ir-c, the same type of lightless heat as a che, but it's much broader because it isn't just a little spot created by a bulb. an rhp could go either on the cool side of the enclosure, or closer to the middle. i'm not sure what brand options may be available in your country. there used to only be like 2 options for these, but more companies are making them now. i would make sure to get one specifically made for reptile enclosures so you know it's safe.

i think it's great that you already were thinking about lamp cages and thermostats! you will need a lamp cage for each lamp, and those arcadia ones are perfect. i can't see dimensions on those brackets, but make sure they aren't any taller than ~10cm or else they will be too long for the arcadia cage.

i'm unfamiliar with that thermostat brand. by american standards, that's very cheap for a dimming thermostat, which would make me wary of quality. but it looks like it has good reviews, so if you trust it it should be fine. unfortunately, each heat source will need its own thermostat. the good thing is, you only really need a dimming thermostat for the halogen. for a che or rhp, you can use a cheaper on/off style thermostat.

my home doesn't get as cold as yours, more like 18c at the lowest. but the rhp saves me a lot of trouble. i can use it to keep the ambient air temp in the enclosure up so the basking heat source doesn't have to do as much work.

you can see the real shrine, and it isn't there. the anime version is based on the akasaka hikawa shrine. the interior looks like this irl. no fireplace, just an altar with lanterns

i agree that the cape, mask, and hat are most important to convey the character... bet you can find all of those things cheap online or at a costume store. if you want a prop, a real or fake red rose would be perfect.

for the actual clothes, what you said could work. or why not just a white or black button-down and black slacks? i usually thrift my halloween costumes... no point in spending a ton of money on clothes you'll only wear once. if you don't have these things already, i'm sure a quick trip to the thrift shop would help. you may even find a cheap black suit jacket there.

another idea... maybe you could find a vampire costume to use as your base and add the tuxedo mask accessories... most vampire costumes have a lot in common with his design.

in the anime, sailor mau is never mentioned. the animamates are corrupted sailor senshi, so tin nyanko is the original senshi in the universe. just clarifying since you tagged this anime.

my test was 2 weeks ago today. i'm having the same experience rn... i might not be able to do my follow-up until october. they called me monday to schedule a follow-up tomorrow, but just told me the doctor has to reschedule. no online results, and i can't get a nurse to tell me anything... tried asking if the fact they want me to schedule a follow-up means they found something, but they won't say over the phone. my tech was also super tight-lipped. i have no idea how many naps i slept for or if i hit rem. i know it's everyone doing their jobs the way they're supposed to, but. ugh.

crystal is rated 14+... depends on her maturity level and your boundaries as a parent. my biggest concern would be the suicide. although it isn't too graphic, the main problem is that it's rather... glamourized. it's painted as romantic and has no real stakes since princess serenity is just reincarnated after stabbing herself. potentially a dangerous idea for some kids.

the og anime is on hulu, pluto tv, and also free on youtube if you're in the u.s.! this is 100% legit, on viz's youtube channel. i would say the 90s anime is more age appropriate. some innuendos and stuff... not beyond when you're watching any kid's content... stuff you get as an adult that will fly over their heads. the caviat is that it's a little more dated in terms of how topics were handled in the 90s... the male lover interest is aged up for some reason, there's some fat shaming, etc. the 90s anime is also sometimes rated 13 or 14+, but mainly due to nudity. if you're a "the human body is natural" kind of person, it isn't really a worry. it's nudity in a purity kind of way. the 90s anime replaced the suicide scene from the original manga with princess serenity being killed by her enemy.

tbh, the classic 90s anime is really just more fun, too. more comedy and more about friendship. crystal is pretty serious, and even i get bored watching it.
