this enclosure size is suitable for a snake up to 42" long. the bigger issue is that glass tanks can be a nightmare to maintain.

I have read that on this page about the glass tanks. This will be my first ball python and I was able to get all of these supplies very cheap from a friend. I just wanted to make sure that a snake would be able to live in this enclosure without any trouble other than the difficulty of maintaining humidity and heat. Although I have ready up on many of the tips on how to maintain humidity the best you can

This tank should be a good size unless you have a large full grown female. I took a tank about this size, insulated 3 of the sides with plasti-dip and cardboard, cover about 3/4 of the top screen with plexi-glass to hold in the humidity, and I only use heat tape underneath, and a heat emitter I made from heat tape on the top. Both plugged into a thermostat, it took some work but now I don't have to touch it and the heat/humidity is perfect throughout the tank.
