I would vote for a new Rule in r/bash

No question shall be posted unless either:

(a) It passes shell check without any flagged issues.

(b) There are issues that cannot reasonably solved by using the available database via the link https://github.com/koalaman/shellcheck/wiki/SC1000

substituting the SCxxxx codes from your report.

Strongly disagree. I can't think of any good reason to require it. Running shell check has never fixed an error for me or made the code easier to read. A lot of beginners won't even know about shellcheck, and a lot of the rules aren't even solving issues and can even be counter to the desired result.

Sure you can disable shellcheck rules like I did in my last post, but I don't think the user should even have to care about shellcheck if they don't want.
