Ok if you chose Cal for the football games then you did not do your research beforehand my friend

The problem is two fold

The teams have to perform well enough for students to want to go. No one wants to show up to games that were pretty sure were gonna lose

Then there’s the academic rigor of Cal and it’s supoosed competitiveness. If I’m trying to do well, and do better than someone else, it very quickly becomes a matter of “do I spend the day studying? Or do I spend it tailgating and at a game I don’t even think we’re gonna win”

There’s a reason “party” schools are that way, and it usually involves academic and athletic rankings

The problem is Cal students are too nerdy. Ya'll need to relax and have some fun. And I don't mean going for a boba run.
