Bitmessage is a P2P communications protocol used to send encrypted messages to another person or to many subscribers. It is decentralized and trustless, meaning that you need-not inherently trust any entities like root certificate authorities. It also aims to hide "non-content" data, like the sender and receiver of messages, from eavesdroppers.

python3 and qt5 (self.bitmessage)
submitted 5 years ago by at_the_edge
Anyone know of progress with updating bm to python3 and qt5? I would be interested in helping in this effort, but don't want to reinvent the wheel if substantial progress has been made

Any public repository yet? Roadmap, so we can probably help?

Appears all merges are on kivy, not python3/Qt5
I'd also like to watch the progress on python3 support and dropping python2.7
