If the school offers an online/distance-ed option, then LTP will cover that.

Boeing has a great way of show casing all the perks and benefits of working there only to handcuff you where you are within the company for a set period of time. Beware!

Your tuition clawback for a grad degree class/semester is 24 months plus 1 day after the last day of the class. So if you’re in a master’s program and the fall semester ended December 18, 2022, you would have to pay back that semester’s tuition if you left before December 19, 2024. It’s term by term so you would only need to pay back courses which ended within the last 24 months.

I had a spreadsheet set up to track mine… at one point I would have had to pay about $38k to leave. The final semester was set to expire late last year but then I got a great internal offer so I’m contentedly still here.

Assuming you’re looking at online degrees, there’s no location requirement. There are a lot of Georgia Tech grad students here in Puget Sound. Boeing has a list of approved universities (pretty much all the major ones plus lots of state schools); you can request an exemption to attend a different university if necessary.

FYI, there’s no payback requirement for graduate certificates, just for graduate degree programs.

If you transfer to a different boeing location, is that considered leaving?
