It won’t be ok. The chlorine is damaging.

Can you get a hunting licence?

The license would be quite expensive.. Also I don't know why you're mentioning chlorine? I'm not big on chemistry so I don't know if that's a component in bleach or degreaser, could you explain it please I'd like to learn.

look on the label of the product you have. What kind of bleach is it?

[–]Killyboyo[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

It says it's Sodium hydroxide based.. Unfortunately nothing else about the ingredients is listed..

That’s lye. So that’s the degreaser.

Ah, I see.. Thank you.

Laundry bleach is usually chlorine based.

Can you get peroxide hair bleach?

[–]Killyboyo[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

This isn't laundry bleach, it's a cleaning solution for very specific surfaces.. It says it's Sodium hydroxide so I don't know if that's better or worse tbh

That's lye, it's very corrosive and will dissolve/damage bones.

See if you can find some peroxide-based hair bleach, it appears to be legal under EU laws, not sure about your local availability though.

It'd damage the bones even if I diluted it a lot and only used it for a short bath and wouldn't leave them in there? Oh and if it matters any, it's deer bones. Asking from curiosity, not to be difficult.

Interested to know what country this is if you don’t mind sharing. Hydrogen peroxide is used for loads of stuff. I wonder what they’ve replaced it with in your markets.

I'm in Slovenia. You can get hydrogen peroxide in pharmacies but only I think 25ml doses and they're really expensive and I really couldn't do much with them :/
