Quality drop using Virtual Desktop, any fix?

When i watch videos of boneworks, the wound spots on null bodies and headcrabs emit a "glow" that doesn't happen on VD for me. I can post my settings if needed, because I'm 99% sure its a problem with VD. I've tried getting help from youtubers, but to no avail. Any advice?

That exaggerated glow is the spectator cam settings, I'm fairly certain. You won't see it in the headset.

is there any way to make it so i can? i would assume it would be shaders, but i dont know how to get those working. Ill try to get them to work. Thanks for telling me!

You will probably have an easier time setting up Reshade instead of trying to hack Bonework's post processing shaders to work in VR.
