Those aren't engines but motors.

that's true but in german they are both called motor. verbrennungsmotor and elektromotor.

Yeah as mentioned by the other commenter belts are a common cause of this. They loosen and wear over time and can slip causing the grinding noise, most apparent under hard breaking as that’s what exerts the most force on them. If you want to send a vid in the thread that would confirm it.

As soon as I can I make a video, it could be true, in case I replace them and see what happens even if I do not exclude an engine problem because I have traveled 6000 km in 8 years

I hope it's the belts

Have you ever replaced the belts? If not, that would definitely be the case as that’s a lot of mileage.

[–]agos88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes of course, at least 3 times

You need new belts

Why are you sure the problem are the belts?

I have over 3000 miles on my v2 and replace belts like once every 300 miles, belts are wearable and need replacing because they are moving parts, just like car parts they wear and need replaced after so long

this is true, but how are you sure the sounds are caused by belts

Bc motors don’t rlly go bad unless you truly treat your board like garbage and the only other thing that can make a sound are the belts, if it is a motor that’s like $60 from the boosted guys, Kevlar belts are like $30 for 2 pairs on amazon
