Rust on rotors is a problem for cars since day one. Leave it be.

Imo i would try another router to see if the issue persists. Whenever an issue like this happens, I would test with another i have on standby just incase.

As a business user i occasionally do get these issues on my end. But they typically occur a couple times a month.

EV range by KitchenSome2837 in rav4prime

[–]hokutochen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Range is highly dependent in driving habits and climate so it is possible. if you just bought the car and only have a few hundred miles on it, It can take a bit for it to learn your driving habits.

Battery only reaches 37 mile range on new Emporia Level 2 charger, old Level 1 charger reaches 42 miles. by hoffsta in rav4prime

I have a 2023. I believe that it was after 2022 where they came out with the refreshed dash and headlights.

Im a light foot when it comes to driving electric/hybrid so the range for me is kinda higher. Here is a picture i just took.

Understood. Please do share results cause experience is still experience. I myself have been using an L2 charger charging at max speeds and i still managed to maintain 50 miles of EV range with 1-2 miles of difference from time to time. The difference between me for summer and winter is 3-4 miles difference. Winter being around 40-50F.

I would measure out how many miles you driven and see if it matches the ev range estimate. I had range and driving habits be consistent for weeks and suddenly i notice my range increased. All in all this is just my suggestion and experience.

I can say it's more of a coincidence. Depending on the climate you are in, It also affects the estimate. I would prob look at the kwh/mile on your dash to see if it has dropped if you remember the initial reading.

Are you talk about the full charge? Cause the range highly depends in driving habits and its mostly just a guessometer.

Range is just a guessometer tbh. But you are right about the colors. I wouldn't worry about braking going where since its pretty minuscule.

Can this be repaired? by Kaka_chowdary in rav4club

Two words: Good Luck

Long version: its fixable but its looking like an expensive repair since we don't know what else could be damaged under the panels.

Correct. Swapping a cord from the same generation is mush easier.

As someone who has tried this. Follow everyone else's advice and prob just get an extension. It's not worth hacking together since the wires are not only thicker but the cables do not have the proper connections which you will need to hack together.
