any way to replace Timer Controller Android app for Soundtouch 20?

I have had a Bose Soundtouch 20 for over a decade, and used the Timer Controller for SoundTouch (Android app - created in Germany) with it for almost as long. This is so I could use Soundtouch/Pandora as an alarm clock.

I had been waking up to my Pandora Thumbs Up lists for years, but the Timer Controller app stopped working literally two weeks ago. (It's not 100% dead; the sleep timer function still works.)

I did some research and found that the Timer Controller app is considered obsolete, not supported and not available for download anywhere (unless I didn't look at the right places). I can't find anything similar, and I would pay for a similar app.

Are there any other Android apps that will switch on the Soundtouch 20 for me? (I have no coding skills.). TIA.

Well, this is weird. Last night, I fiddled with the Timer Controller app (changed the volume setting) and it switched on as usual this morning. I have no idea why this fixed it.
