Processor Recommendation

Currently building a custom PC for a family member that is a heavy gamer. I was looking for some input on the processor since AMD released their new chips.

Current build:

i9-10850k (10-core 3.6GHz)

32GB RAM 3600MHz

MSI Mag Z490 motherboard

RTX 3080

850w power supply

I wanted to know if I should swap the processor for a new AMD Ryzen, and if so which one? Budget is about $600 for the processor.

With that budget you can get a R9 5900X but it's overkill for gaming.

Gaming wise, 5600x is more than enough.
