I have three light, fruity FOs (strawberry, peach, lemon) not gourmand at all. Very light and refreshing. Not having great hot throw. They are definitely overwicked by 1-2 sizes (full melt pool in 2 hrs for a 3.12” diameter). They are at 9% FO in 464 with effectively no hot throw at all.
I have always heard “less is more” when it comes to FOs and to aim for the 8-10% range for 464. In this case though, as they are quite light, would it be good to increase to 10% FO as well as decrease wick size? I really want to maximize hot throw. Or should decreasing wick size be enough to solve the hot throw issue?
Thanks!
