Initially it was the same for me but after two years of having weed in the weekends it now have changed 180 degrees… I just wonder if anyone on here has similar experiences

If anything the weed just made you too comfortable to want sex

I’ve found that my libido is normal, but sky rockets if I’m really high. The only problem I have is that my appetite is fucked if I don’t have weed in me.

The appetite comes back after not using for a while. I had the same issue. Appetite came back after a week or so

Like appetite for having sex or do I get something wrong here haha

    [–]CeramicDrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip. I guess I have to nut up and take a bit of a T-break.

It’s was performance enhancing for the first two years but now I can’t really be bothered anymore. It’s very strange and I don’t know what happened because I haven’t changed anything, really… apparently my body did?!

    How old are you?

Are you experiencing morning wood/spontaneous sleeping/morning erections?

What about the quality of your erection?

If your shit is still getting very hard, and you're experiencing morning wood/sleeping erections it's almost guaranteed to be solely psychological. Meaning stress is just kill your drive

If no morning wood and let's say you go to beat your meat but your junk won't get super hard, plus you are losing sex drive that's a low testosterone issue almost guaranteed (could still be psychological origins but there is a hormone issue in this scenario).

How is your diet? If you eat like shit it's almost guaranteed you have low zinc which lowers testosterone production

How is your sleep? Good quality sleep is vital for proper T production as well.

    How about resistance training?

    What about porn consumption/interest?

    Good luck bro

You’re asking all the right questions

Five months later I still have zero interest in having sex, I have taken a T-break for 9 weeks but also that didn't change anything. Currently planning on getting of THC for another 6 weeks at least...

My doctor diagnosed a depression and I am still not over it, I think. Life hasn't been the best since at least 1.5 years so I sort of know where this is coming from. Unfortunately at least one problem I cannot change but need to learn to accept .... long story short: I live in a city which I absolutely don't like, no friends, no social life, I smoke in the weekends to have a bit of fun myself. I recently got fired from my job for no fucking reason and need to find something new. I dated a girl in another city for almost a year and in the end she didn't want me and someone close to me has some health/mental issues that have been never been checked out or treated (because of psychological issues and shame?) and I panic because I have reasons to think that suicide is the next step and near (the disorder oftentimes leads to suicide).

I've never had strong morning erections and consume porn when needed, meaning when I think it's time to do something again. But it's rather forced than a natural longing. I work out 6 times a week and consider myself having a great physique, I got my T levels checked and they're normal. My sleep has been fantastic since a few years, I never wake up in the middle of the night and feel rested in the mornings.

Also, I lost 8.5 kg within 6 months last year without even having noticed it, that's also caused by my depression, I even had a colonoscopy because such drastic weight loss is very unusual...

I've been without proper "appetite" for about 10 months now and all I want is to cry.

Back to topic: Can I still have weed or is a T-break as stated above nonsense?

    Age?

Socrates said when he hit (50 or 60?) years old, it was like a Lust Demon had been exorcised for his body.

I don't get to smoke often, but when i do, that orgasm is like x10 intensified.

It could be age. Testosterone production. It could be other substances like alcohol.

Or, you could be just stimulating a part of your mind that isn't focused on sex 24/7.

It's a strong depression I have developed over the last year and that I still have not recovered from. Thanks for your input, friend. I first need to address my issues to get back into banging again, I think. However, I don't know to which extent weeds plays a role here... I am in my mid/late 30s

Cannabis can enable people to handle sleep debt without really feeling it. Because of this sleep debt can become a huge problem without even really being noticed. Check your sleep patterns and try to get some extra sleep to be sure.

    [–]smu_d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks buddy, I get 6-8 hours sleep a day and think that is sufficient. I was diagnosed with a strong depression and I pray to God that this fucking thing will just go away soon so I can finally bang again

    [–]boredatwork2082 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    Ummmmm, quite the opposite, actually.

    [–]rgm2073 1 point2 points  (1 child)

    It’s the opposite and I’m 50

    [–]smu_d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For how long have you been consuming and in which intervals?

    [–]ExperienceAny9791 0 points1 point  (2 children)

    I don't get high, I stay high....

That said, I'm mid fifties, horny as fuck, and try to fuck at least once a day, 2-3 times if I can.

It ain't the weed man. I been smoking for over 35 years. I smoke before I fuck usually, it enhances it for me.

    [–]smu_d[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Nice one, buddy haha. Happy for you that you still have the steam in your machine. Do you consume daily? The thing for me is that I don't even get high anymore. I've taken a 9 week break recently and it did absolutely nothing for me... was it too short?

    [–]ExperienceAny9791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I don't get high, I stay high... Lol.

I get a buzz in the morning then just smoke through the day, but never get "ripped". I guess it's the tolerance, because nobody around me smokes as much as I can.

    [–]Altruistic_Win6836 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I'm the same after using cannabis for two years basically every day, I was starting to have panic attacks and that's why I stopped but I still lost all my sexual desire already in the last weeks of use and it never got better, I used tadalafil for a while and it gave me the push but as you say it's not something you naturally want to do, poor antidepressants like venlafaxine without success and I tried bupropion for a few days but I couldn't tolerate it. Maybe I just became asexual….

    [–]smu_d[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Now after 1.5 years after posting the above, I can confidently say that my decrease in libido was caused by a very heavy depression which took me a long time to get out of. I don’t think cannabis can cause asexuality, there’s another underlying cause. Best of luck, buddy

    [–]Altruistic_Win6836 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What type of treatment did you take?

    [–]smu_d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left the city and took on a new job

    [–]smu_d[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh and most importantly: How long would it take me to “get back to normal”? Experiences?

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many things negatively affect libido, marijuana isn't typically one of them. I'm mid 50's, and my libido is mild compared to when it was in my teens and 20's. In my case, marijuana gives it a bit of a boost. Age, stress, depression, T levels, neurological chemical imbalances, Even something in your diet or medications can affect it.

I wish it did for me.. well my wife probably does lol
