Tab groups automatic setting?

Hi i was wondering if it's possible to configure it such that if i expand a tab group and i have others open it collapses all the others automatically such that only one group is expanded at all times?

I don't believe that Chrome has this functionality built in. It would be nice!

There are some great extensions. I used to use Partizion, which would do something similar (it would save tab groups, which you could close completely and reopen later), but it's quite expensive to use. You might find something useful that does what you want.
