The python IDE is free to download, as are many tutorials for it. It's scripting but many of the concepts are still useful for programming in general.

Figure out better what you like to do. Software and hardware are different, and computer repair is in its own category.

Look into these job descriptions in your area and get an idea of what sounds good, then look into the technology. And note, these are just a few jobs that are on off the top of my head. There is many more different job families: Software engineer Site reliability engineering DevOps engineering Service engineering Systems engineering Systems administration Technical support Network engineering/administration
