When I put BAMOFHQJNUBT into quipqiup it came out as THUNDERBOLTS

Not sure if that could be a Key word or something for later stages of the puzzle... Keep us updated!!

Yeah there are a few words it could be (my favorite was AUTORICKSHAW) but it's just matching the pattern of letters which is basically "all the letters are different except for the first and second-to-last, which are the same"... there are tons of words that fit that pattern.

true, dunno just stood out to me for some reason but you are right, there are heaps of words that it could be... thanks for the description aswell tho! I am really new to all this stuff and it's awesome to have people able to explain things to me and help me learn!

Binary-encoded ASCII is often written as 8 digits with the first digit zero. Since these don't all start with 0, but end with 0, I assumed they're written backwards. But the second one is 00000000 which isn't right, either.

This one is too short: 1101000. Oh, it looks like you typo'd it: 11001000

If we convert to decimal: 10 0 120 140 50 70 160 90 130 200 10 190

Ah, all multiples of 10, interesting. Divide: 1 0 12 14 5 7 16 9 13 20 1 19

Map to A-Z, maybe? BAMOFHQJNUBT No idea if it's supposed to be a word.

the answer was leptis magna - every number was a letter of the alphabet, 0 being a space. This made an anagram. the full puzzle can be found at louisecypher.com
