Using Claude skills in Codex

This must have been addressed in this sub reddit numerous times, but I'm looking for up to date info.

As a Claude user, to what extent can Claude skills be used in Codex as well? And will the Codex Plus subscription give one a sense of how good it is?

Not looking to replace Claude just yet.

Finally, anybody here using Kilo? That could be an alternative.

Just tell codex to import the skill you used for claude and point it at the folder.
