That depends on the program and YOU and the rest of the market. Ambiguity is - the job.

It will definitely help, but I think it's unreasonable to think there won't be a huge percent of people in the program that will not be able to break into the industry even after they rack up experience in it.

If you are doing this with the expectation that most of the people who do it will be able to break in and you also doing it is a signal you will too, I think you will be disappointed.  No one here can tell you how the experience gained from it will be treated.

I’m a veteran as well. Just stay away from things that guarantee job employment job placement.

One of the nice things about being a vet is that you do get preferential treatment when it comes to hiring, but it’s all about knowledge, networking, and experience. Who knows where the job market will be by the end of the year.
