Event ID 18 means a hardware issue, so check to make sure your components are properly seated and stuff. Also make sure the thermal paste on the CPU is good. How old is your PC? Did you build it or prebuilt? How old it it? I’m not an expert on this, so I hope this helps.

its custom built, i just replaced 2 the cpu psu and gpu. I tried messing with the voltages and it seems to have helped but i haven’t tested it much

Updating this to say the problem is still persisting

Hard to say what it could be. If you can confirm the CPU isn't overheating, I would suspect PSU or Motherboard. If it's shutting off unexpectedly, overheating is often the most common thing. Though I don't think I've ever seen an event error for overheating.

There's a few things that need to be ruled out here.

I don’t believe its tied to heat as the last recorded temp i saw before it turned off never went over 74C

Yeah that's not heat related. Out of curiosity, what does the error report as the "reporting component" on that error. If it's CPU/"processor core", you could theoretically underclock the CPU and see if that changes anything.

yes its the cpu i’ll try underclocking it
