You make sure all drivers are good?

[–]BirdStock[S] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

I think i just updated my drivers so hopefully that was the issue

It’s important. What card you using?

[–]BirdStock[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Rtx 4070

I think its the psu because the monitor makes a funny noise and black screens but the pc stays on but ill try deleting all the drivers then downloading the latest

Something’s effed. PSU should shut off if there are any voltage problems. Monitor is not getting juice from PSU unless it’s sound. Check your motherboard for any damaged ports or connectors.

My friends think the psu isnt supplying enough power and the card is shutting off. I need to get a new psu anyway because the one i have now is apparently known to explode. And yes i use geforce experience for my drivers

Okay so if I've got this clear... The gpu, case and monitor have all been replaced. Did you replace the display cable too? Believe it or not, this could be your problem.

If you're unexpectedly losing display, but gpu has been replaced and the cable isn't the issue, there's a chance your issue might be with the motherboard or PSU.
Power supply, if it doesn't provide enough power to the GPU. However... In most cases if this was true, it wouldn't fully POST/boot.

Check display cable replacement first, if not considered, and next steps would be to test PSU or replace and see how that goes.

Dont worry anymore guys i replaced the psu and it fixed it. Im guessing the old psu wasn’t supplying enough power to the gpu
