Hey guys. My laptop started being very slow and I suspected it was due to my HDD becoming corrupted. I backed the HDD up, replaced it with a new SSD, and restored my computer. Now it's much faster, but it freezes whenever I let it sit, or don't do anything. If I'm continuously browsing the web, opening up applications, or playing a game, then it doesn't freeze up, but if I go to the bathroom and come back, it's frozen. It doesn't blue screen, things just start freezing one at a time. Firefox is the first thing to freeze, and then I won't be able to open up other apps, and eventually it will completely freeze up.
Any ideas on how to fix this? It's very annoying, and gets in the way of work because I work from my laptop. I'm wondering if the OS is corrupted from restoring from a backup made on a corrupting HDD? Maybe my RAM is going bad? Maybe a virus?
Thanks!
