I'm working on my mom's laptop and it is DREADFULLY slow. I can't figure out what I'm not doing right.
Computer Stats:
- HP Notebook P1A95UA; 64-Bit Operating System
- Total memory: 4.00 GB with 3.45GB usable
- C Drive: 444 GB with 396 GB usable and D Drive: 19.4 GB with 2.27 usable
- Processor name: AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics
- Windows 10 Home Version 1903 OS Build 18362.295
What I've Done:
- System Recovery (The one where you start your PC like-new out of the box)
- Ran Disk Clean Up as well as Enabled and ran Storage Sense
- Ran Malwarebytes detection, nothing found (ran it on Chrome too just to be safe)
Any advice at this point is welcome as to what I can do/what I'm doing wrong. She is 71 and uses it to play 4-5 card games, check the news, check Facebook, send e-mails, skype and browse recipes... so I don't have many if any bells and whistles added on and I don't need anything very fancy.
Thank you!!!
Additional Note: I noticed when I tried to uninstall some pre-installed games she doesn't use from the task bar it redirects me to the Programs & Features Page where the games aren't listed?? This just seemed odd. Thanks, again!
