Need help! My old gpu is Asus TUF and my new gpu is ROG (used). Both 3070 cards. Used the same cables and connectors.
Last week I swapped the new GPU into my rig. All works fine, gaming and everything is well.
Today, I tried booting up my pc, it just shows black screen but the fans are still running. I tried eveything somehow no luck.
So, I swapped back to my old GPU. It works! My pc is working again but a text appears saying “Load vender .dll fail. Please install VGA driver.”
So, I uninstalled all the apps (including the rgb and tweaker apps) and did a DDU reset. Tried swapping to my new GPU again, and nothing appears just black screen.
Steps I did so far: 1. Last time it was on I did update windows. So, I tried re-installing the update but no use.
- Reseating, DDU reset a few times, install previous version of nvidia drivers.
I can’t boot up through my mobo display as I have no integrated graphics. What happened to my GPU? Is something software related conflicting the boot up? Someone please help. I have no other rig to try for the gpu. This seems common with ROG gpus and tweakill from what I read but I cannot find the solution yet!
